Midday Cloud

22 inch x 24 inch acrylic on birch. box framed flat black sides. This is one of a series I plan to do on clouds. Since moving here to South Carolina the skies have fascinated me. The landscape is so flat there seems to be so much more sky than what i grew up with in New England. The air sweeps off the land into the ocean during the day and then circles back up and over the land in the afternoon with all the collected moisture from the ocean. The result are these beautifully full clouds which sometime lead to a storm and sometimes not. In any case, they lend themselves to my imagination and i never tire from driving to see them. International shipping to be determined. Thank you

Artist Reply: yes, the clouds of Beaufort ! I think I painted over this one though.. it was a little too bright and after a while of looking at it, i decided I didn't like it anymore, used the board for something else. xxx
