I spent a year at the old Cardiff Welsh Industrial and Maritime Museum (1981-82) doing a survey of Butetown & the Docks area before they were redeveloped. I had a very open brief and was able to provide the museum with an exhibition and book - the documentary archive, I believe, is now within the main museum. This photo was taken at one of the last surviving foundries in the docks area - i doubt if it is still there.
