Acrylics on paper (10x14ins) This ruin stands on the hillside beside Burrishoole Abbey on an inlet of Clew Bay. It may well have been part of the abbey complex at some stage but now it stands apart, fenced off from the other ruins ,and is something of a mystery to me. In the background on the right, you can see Croagh Patrick on the horizon, on the other shore of the bay.
