This image has two sets of Sacre Coeur (Sacred Hearts). The one is the Sacre Coeur de Grand Coteau in Louisiana, the other is the Sacre Coeur de Paris. You see the image of the Virgin Mary on the left and one of the founding nuns of Sacre Coeur de Grand Coteau on the right. The latter was a prominent girls schools from the colonial period, which still continues to function. I'm not really sure why I wanted to paint this complicated image, but here it is.
