Dr. John Hill

Dr. John Hill, psychiatrist, commissioned this portrait. He wanted his face and his house. I threw in the heart as a symbol of his medical affiliation. After all, aren't psychiatrists the masters of the human heart.

WHAT AN AWESOME portraiture this is again, David. Your unique style is brilliant. I can see why you're asked so often for commissioned work.... AND YES, psychiatrists are the masters of the human heart and mind.-- Love and Light~OLGA

This is a brilliant portrait! I like the dynamic of the large figure in the foreground contrasted with the interesting house and garden in the background. Home is where ther heart is!!! I like the brushwork too. Everything is sparklling with sunlight and dappled shadows. Dr Hill has a friendly, open face and looks like someone you could trust and confide in. I'll bet he loves it! Brilliant artwork!
