Is this a photograph? Is this painted on rock? I love the colours and textures.

Artist Reply: Yes Cathy, its a photograph! I tried to scratch off the pink colour, not sure what it is, I just increased the contrast a little for better clarity. A lucky find I think! The rock I believe was mined from a local mountain and was placed in a sandstone retaining wall! There was a lot of volvanic activity in this area millions of years ago which I think created such a diverse range of rocks!
