Margaret, this is one thats so hot it's Incinerating! Obviously your talent is evident not only in your ability to create a scenario, but also in your vivid colors.
This would have to be one of my favorite AW artworks, I truly believe mother nature will have her wrath, here in Australia we have been going through one of the worst droughts in history. So much so that if we don't get some rain this summer we will be in allot of trouble. An excellent visual statement Margaret
Artist Reply: Gavin thank you for your very nice comments, I hope rain come's your way. We are having so many problems in the USA. We just had Ike and it was very destructive. We have had such a bad President for the last 8 years that we need Gods help to get us out of this mess......Thank you again Gavin
Hi Margaret! You are right, there is a certain relationship between our two paintings. A bit like two sides of a coin, though. Mine is ... a caged emotion, maybe? Yours is alive and kicking to boot! Cheers // Breeze
Artist Reply: THANK YOU SO MUCH BREEZE, I THOUGHT YOU WOULD SEE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEM..
I really like this one Margaret! There's a real energy to it. Amazing how it's completely different to your other work too. You have quite a range of skills. Thanks for your comments on my work, much appreciated. And yes, 'Kristina's Hand' has been entered into the hand competition :-) Kellie
Artist Reply: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR THOUGHTFUL COMMENTS ON MY WORK, KELLIE
This looks a lot like the thermal images of hurricanes (Katrina, for example). Or perhaps a fragment from starry night. The colors a great, whatever it represents.
Artist Reply: This is my version of the rath of mother nature.Thank you for your comments.
This is extremely impressive. This looks like a photo of water swirling with different colored lights reflecting on it. I've never seen anything like this!!!
This is such a powerful painting! I don't know what your intentions were, but this painting would have extra meaning for the people in California where their canyons and coastlands are ravaged with fire. Last year, we visited Joshua Tree National Park after such a fire that looked like this at night.
