Adam Bites The Apple

3.5 x 4 inches, watercolor and gouache, 2008. Adam in the Garden of Eden about to take a chunk out of the apple that Eve has given him, the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, which had been forbidden to them. Once tasted they became aware of good and evil, and innocence was lost. Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden.

not true,...but excellently illustrated!!!! Eve didn't get knocked up with two babies by eating an apple!!! ....ever heard of fruit of the loom underwear,...that's Satan's(i.e. the serpent) fruit that caught Eve's eye

Artist Reply: I'm sorry Gregg but I don't quite understand . I never wrote that Eve got "knocked up" by eating an apple. The fruit was the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and God had told them not to eat from that tree. The serpent persuaded Eve to try it even though it was forbidden to them...it was not Satans fruit. As for Fruit of the Loom, it has nothing to do with this story. Thanks anyway!
