Dearest Armando...

Dearest Armando
This is my illustration,
Of you,
For you,
And inspired by you!

It is from one of your photo's...I think it was your Paris trip. I drew this a while ago and have never felt confident enough to finish it…. Your very beautiful words did the trick –
High praise indeed… thank you

It was done on layout paper with a Muji 0.3 fine line pen and coloured in separate layer in Photoshop.

So what do you think? Do you recognise yourself…I really hope you like it

Darling, this is an INMENSE surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-))) Few seconds ago I read your e-mail and I didn't understand the last phrase (sometimes I'm a stupid; someone said it in the past :-)---As promised, I came to your portfolio to comment... AND I FOUND THE WONDERFUL SURPRISE!!!:-))) and a surprise more: you wrote "OIL". OIL? Then I read the info. I must say you totally GOT me! Yes, because of your work I notice I'll have success as actor: I look so handsome, OMG! I'll be the next James Bond:-)))) Perhaps you would love to be my partner:-)))----- About your questions: yes, I recognise my face indeed and your work is TOP NOTCH. I always thought you've a NATURAL talent for drawing and I said it to you more than once. I know a lot of artists seduced by color but having a MINIMAL skill to draw, Sketching/drawing is the basis: if the basis fails, the colors fall down. I'm sure you'll understand me. Finally: YES, I LIKE IT VERY MUCH. Years ago I offered to you a cartoon, but you always wanted to be THE INVISIBLE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN:-))))--- With your permission I'll put this portrait on my home page here for a while. O.K.? Love you. Hugs.

Artist Reply: I am as always flattered by your generous and supportive words..... and Mr Bond - I would be your Miss Moneypenny to your James Bond (she lives longer)... I am very please that you like it . and it would - as the saying goees "give me no end of joy " to be animated by you, anytime..... can you tell that I am getting less shy these days??.... And of course you may use your image on your page, (and I know I have said this to you many times before - but it's true so I'll say it again, and I'm sure this will no the the last time or any other days to come) I would be honoured if you do use it on your page ... As always I am eternally grateful for your friendship and support dearest Armando.xoxo
