love it...color form intrigue mystery ..look close and the top left yellow section takes the definitive form of a man's face..not a cartoon representation, but a very precise model...Who is the artist....Only one I know designs like this..even the rocks will cry out, He proclaimed.

What kind of rock is this, Kathie? The colours are awesome!

Artist Reply: Thanks Anneke! I'm not sure but I think it is a mixture of sandstone. It was from a rock I found in a sandstone retaining wall. A local fellow told me he had sold a lot of rock to local landscapers from his property on Tamborine Mountain. There certainly were some amazing rocks in this area!!! Tamborine Mtn is famous for its "Thunderbird Eggs". Rocks shaped likes large eggs and when you cut them open there are crystals inside. So with all the old volcanic activity in this area, I am not surprised by the unusual types of rock here!
