The Other Trail Back...

After having lunch a little ways from Snoquera Falls, (the rockslide made us a little nervous), we took the main trail down the hill. About a mile down, the trail splits. We came up the left side, so decided to go back via the right. This trail takes you to Camp Sheppard, a large private Boy Scout Camp. Although we are not allowed in the camp, the trail follows the edges. This platformed walkway is maintained by the Boy Scouts and generally crosses swampland. Not today, the water flowed thru here like a small river. I like this area a lot because of the giant cedars along the path................ Thanks for joining us on our 1st hike of the season. I hope you enjoyed it almost as much as we did. I really appreciate you stopping by this site!!! :)
