This is a commissioned piece of a Border Collie that belongs to some friends of mine. Background is water color, dog is done in acrylics - almost entirely with an 18/0 liner brush. Arches 140 lbs. hot press paper. The white has a lot more detail that the scanner didn't pick up and the blue is much prettier in person. Hope you like it :)

Love this, so gorgeous, great composition, GREAT fur, I know it's hard to portrait black fur and you did it! I also think the background is spectacular.
