Though Bald Headed Eagles are an endangered species, Sitka, Alaska is teeming with them. Some trees are totally full. Doesn't this majestic one look like the one on the US seal?

OH Sharon I am so jealous and impressed at the same time. I am always looking for these beauties. We have a few around here but I am always to far away to make a good capture and my zoom is not that good. I one time caught one in the tree's in the fall and was able to capture its beauty, I have that one photo on my sight, but have never been able to capture any more.
