Bullwinkle, never heard of him!

The moose, an icon of Canada. This female was enjoy a rest in the sunshine, something we don't see much of on the coast. Taken in Aldergrove at the GVZ,B.C.

Well where I come from originally in Maine, we see them alot. In face I ran into one with my car one foggy night, just managed to bum the hind end, thankfully...it got up, looked back and me and went into the woods. They are HUGE!!!! This one does not look very old, well caught.
