A Bright Spot In My Dark World

This is monotype I made from a photo of my friend Samantha, who has always been like a sister to me (Thanks for everything, Sammy. Love you.). We were at the World War II Memorial in Washington DC at night, and these lights (which she is standing on top of) were embedded in the sidewalk. So they were bright spots in that dark world, as she is in mine. monotype on paper, 5" x 6.75" May 08
