Chilling Blues

©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 04/17/08. A DigyMix™ work. The winter weather had suddenly turned bad evolving from rain to sleet to ice. The tree in our yard suddenly began to change in a monstrously bizarre way. We watched in sustained interest unable to take our eyes away from what our imagination was showing us. Thanks for looking Seth.

This is a hauntingly beautiful piece Seth, we have cold winters , we even had ice this year which is rare for this region. Mother nature has a way of teaching us that if we mess with her too much she will exact her revenge. This is a beautiful work of art my friend.

Artist Reply: There was an old ad line in an old TV ad in America when I was growing up "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature." This fits your comments very well. Thanks Gavin for all your fabulous comments today. I really appreciate you and them.

I like how the image fades at edges on top and bottom...and those blues are wonderful

Artist Reply: Always appreciated dear Renata. I really like this blue. This work was originally a photo I took of snow falling in my backyard.

Very fauvist. I like it. It makes me think of Hendersonville in the rain (apple tree reference). Very nice use of energetic lines and shapes/shades of blue for depth and composition. Seth II
