arcylic on cardboard. another version of previous painting, from photo. "She was a colorful old gal." He pushed the button. The old elevator always took forever. "I miss seeing her around." "I could have taken the stairs in half the time. Yes, she was always around." "She was sort of bossy and grouchy. A lot of people didn't like her." "She was interesting, though." "Yes. Colorful." The door opened slowly. The light was a pale yellow. A room full of eyes inspected me without pretense. The door closed.
