The Wave Ball

This is a fantasy dream work of mine of waves. There is a ball that reflects the water, so blue and beautiful. I'd love to have a mirror ball to put out on the water to watch it float and reflect. I doubt it would float, so I have to dream of one. This is a digital painting with a 3-D effect added. I used a grainier brush than I usually do to give it a more textured look. I find this one peaceful and relaxing to look at. I hope you enjoy it.

This is so beautiful and I share your sense of peace as I'm looking at it. The curvature of lines combined with the reflective shades of blue is mesmerizing and extremely captivating. The orb seems to have risen out of the water and is looking back at its viewer. Absolutely stunning, Terry! ~Sandra~

Artist Reply: Thank you Sandra! It does have a Sci-Fi vibe to it and the peaceful mood. Glad you liked this one.

Nice orb!

Artist Reply: Thank you Stanley so much! I love designing orbs, spheres, bubbles, marbles and experimenting with the colors, designs, textures, and reflection of light. I've bags of marbles, glass beads and such in my studio to study and use. I hope to do some cool mosaic work with some in my new home in the garden I am planning. I may get into fused glass in the future. I would love working with glass. Looking into getting lessons from some local artists .

Awesome design and color!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Debbie! I had been looking through my photos and one of Lake Tahoe inspired me to work with the intense blues it has. There are some awesome lakes up in Yosemite when you drive through the park over Tiago Pass like that. The first time I saw such a blue lake was up there. I could not believe that a lake could be so blue, it looked like a fantasy.

gorgeous Terry!!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Jamie! Blue is such a relaxing color for me, add it as water and a bubble and I'm chilling out and smiling. Life should be so for all, I wish.

WHAT A GREAT BUBBLE, TERRY! I HAVE ALWAYS LUVED YOUR BUBBLES!

Artist Reply: Thank you Emily! Bubbles are such a simple pleasure, guess it's the kid in me. I love those garden gazer speres and was thinking how cool if a large one could float on the waves. I'll have to get one and see if it floats. If I find one that does, I'm putting a fish pond in the new home garden I'm planning. Just not in the hot summer. I'd hate to freak koi out with the sun reflection. LOL!

Looks like an eclosion of life in the ocean. Very cool.

Artist Reply: Thank you Armando! The water is blue from the beautiful colors I find in lakes up in the Sierra Mountain range. It actually does get this deep blue and has always fasinated me with the color.
