Boastful Emu

Another from the series about the emu who was challenged to a race to the sun by the kookaburra. This image precedes the first one posted..the text goes something like " once upon a time the emu was not the dull colured flightless bird that we know of today. The emu was a most colourful bird, who often boasted of his beauty to all the other creatures"

This is a fabulous piece of work! We used to sing the Kookaburra song when I was a girl guide in the UK! Brilliant artwork!
