Hi I love your work. My Uncle Left me two of your paintings. One is Pegasus and the other was a Unicorn . But they both are white and black done in 1978 & 1979. Could you please send me info on them. Thank you Cindy Bink.

Artist Reply: The pieces that you have are prints based on scratchboard originals.Scratch board is a white clay board covered with a black surface. The artist takes a metal needle-shaped tool and scratches off the black leaving the white drawing.There are certain textures that lend themselves to scratchboard. Fur/wood grain/and feathers are well suited to scratchboard. These are the textures I chose for those two pieces. I have since perfected the technique. Nice take on an old concept. I love that he`s not white, like the traditional pegasus. Beautiful work!
