Beautiful. B+ Try reversing the bullet hole to other side of heart, along with golden (bone?) spikes, both vertical and horizontal, and the 3cm measuring devices and sm. box (currently at lower R.) Bullet hole demands a lot of attention and pulls eye to left side, where it's a bit empty.

Artist Reply: Thank you for the critique. You definitely gave it considerable thought, and I appreciate the advice. However, I contend that the bullet hole is where it should be. I don't like to qualify, and don't want to over-explain, but think of this as a migratory composition. It (the bullet hole) constitutes a void and may be considered "the event horizon." A sort of transcendence from the earthly plane into the darkness of space. Notice too, the edge of the map divides the piece just left of the "event horizon", yet a bit of life motions outward toward the emptiness. I figured your comment deserved a respectful response.
