Artist Reply: Thank you very much, John. This painting was turned into a bit of clip art for a Website selling Northern Michigan goods such as honey, berries, and such. Unfortunately, I lost the URL for the Website in a computer crash. :(
Artist Reply: Thank you, Betty! A few people had commented that I should paint the scene that I had posted photographs of. I had, and the painting was part of my son and d i l `s wedding gift. I called and asked him to take a picture of the painting and email it to me, which he did. I changed the color of the water for the painting, because it didn`t seem to work using the natural colors.( I was having trouble mixing a color that didn`t look muddy) I thought it came out Ok with brightened up water.
