Ted Williams on Ice (2008)

Ted Williams was a famous baseball player. After his death, a decision was made to freeze his decapitated head in order to preserve his DNA. Man always seems obsessed by a quest for immortality, whether it be Egyptian pharaohs or contemporary baseball fans.

Wow! What a story. I wonder why it was his head that was frozen, who made the decision, and if it was to preserve his DNA for future ball players. You keep me thinking, David, and I am glad you will live on through your paintings.
