Jamaican Lady

My Jamaican lady was made from dried banana peels. The arms and legs are the stems of the banana. Her face is a half of a walnut seed. The picture in the background is framed with dried butter nut squash. The churn is dried banana peel. The sail boat in the picture is dried banana peel

wow..you amaze me with what you can do with banana peals!

Artist Reply: Thank you Leah, Would you believe that I can take a banana peel and make it look and feel like leather..... but this work calls for a different texture.

sweet work!

Artist Reply: Thank you Joanna, What makes her sweet to me is my Granddaughter brought me a half of a walnut seed she found outside and that is what her face is.
