These are two different photographs - one as close as i could get with 600mm and the other with 80mm. From high in Red Rock Valley - a climb from Vegas of almost 3,000 feet - by road - I looked down on the valley - and saw this in the late light - the second view is a panorama of the whole valley below me - yoiu can see the ripples of the formation in the middle
