This is a 9 x 13 acrylic on canvas that I gave to a friend as a baby shower gift. I actually gave her a coupon for a portrait of her son, and it took me this long to get around to doing it! He is a beautiful child with stunning blue eyes, and his blue hat and shirt really brought the eye color out. I prefer to do portraits in oil, but used acrylic because it is too cold to open the window and ventilate the oil fumes. So in winter months I stick to the water based paints! Thanks for looking. If anyone is interested, I do paint for commissions and would usually charge around $100 for a work like this. I let the customer decide if they like it and want to pay, otherwise they are free to opt out. Thanks! Dixie
