I wanted to represent how things in life that are beautiful and wonderful are often fleeting and hard to hold onto. The hummingbirds and butterflies symbolize this. I wanted the woman to have a look of hope. She illustrates the belief that catching the beauty in life is possible.
This was painted using my tablet in Photoshop.

This is very pretty. Did you do this from scratch or did you use a photo as the base? Her lips are very nice. :)
