This is a 4"x 6" ultra-miniature on the smallest sheet of Lana Watercolor Paper they make. It was a 25th wedding anniversary present to our close friends. It was developed from a photograph of railroad photograph Phillip Ross Hastings. I completed another 9"x "12"version of this scene prior to this one and entitled it the Hockey Game. This is the most colorful rendition of this scene ca 1946, and I think one of my favorite paintings.
