This is really beautiful, very calming and mystical. I think I am really drawn to it as it puts to mind sepia and I am fond of sepia works. Angel312

Very creative, not the usual silhouette.

Artist Reply: I too am pleased at how it turned out.. The idea was that the the bits of leaves and debris get caught up in the trees creating a slightly different look. Glad you liked it, Thanks so much for commenting.

Isn't it amazing how bright we can make that mystical lighting in the background. Very beautiful. A great big bow of respect to you.

Really nice ~ it has a dream like quality

Artist Reply: Hi Heather, Thanks for the compliment. That was one of my first oils, oddly enough, more people like this one then any other, I think it only took me a couple hours, with only 2 colors it was a fairly easy exercise

I love this. I am a big fan of minimalism.. I need to get back to that. although painting a Snuffleufagus like creature is fun also.

Mary Parker 20 Dec 2003

This is beautiful, Pamela! ( wanted to tell you...Pamila~ That 'white' area you were talking about in my portfolio is part of the bouquet. The bride had a very dainty rose bouquet. I can't remember if they were white roses or a white material, but it was part of it. ...'a pretty little valentine' bouquet. I placed the red roses up front and the others in back of it for the photograph. Did you think that's what I did... blacked out everything and left that area around the babies breathe? no, no.. We'll I am going to push the '10' to post this, 'cause I think it is worth a '10' , that's what I would give it if it was someone elses... Mary Parker )
