Winter is coming and while I'm in Texas where there's no snow usually, this season makes me think of the North. This is Boston, Arnold Arboretum botanical garden, where I was once overwhelmed by the effect of light reflecting from an ice field. 36"x24" acylic on canvas 2002

every once in awhile you stumble on a truely great artist not a mimic, copier, photo reproducer but someone with clear vision of what art really is suppose to be... from the soul, from the heart, a personal impression of what is. Your work...........is clearly timeless. sincerely, Paul (for what it's worth , longest comment I have ever been inspired to give)Kimberly 23 Feb 2009

The ground curvature on this really sets it apart. Even though it is ice you've given it warmth and softness.Christine Higgins 11 Nov 2007
