Times Square meets Picadilly Circus

This one began as a dark, dark scene with lots of red and black and got continually lighter. There are at least six layers of colours (acrylics, gouache, glimmer, oil wax) and even sand involved here. Looking at it I DO see elements of Times Square but also the fountains of Londons Picadilly Circus. And that is as it should be: London and New York are two of the Cities I love best.

There is a lot to see; it's vivid, a life, ever moving and for me hopeful! Splendid abstract work like it has to be! GREAT!

You know B that does rather come across as a creation of the two - AE, eh? Bewdy ~:0)

Artist Reply: Yeah, it does. Originally when the colours went lighter it looked a lot like Times Square. The Picadilly Circus "imprint" happened towards the end of the process. A bit weird, but there you go: art. Thank you for your comment!
