This is prolly my fave. I think I love it even more so since there is absolutely no background. It's beautiful...

Artist Reply: thanks linda. it's funny your commenting on liking it because of the lack of background and yet this + the loon probably have the most foreground/background of any in the portfolio. i rarely add any because, like you i find it's too distracting, but sometimes you just need something to ground the image so it doesn't look like it's floating in mid air. i did that with the swan and every time i look at it it feels like something is missing; i just haven't figured out how to resolve it yet.
