ORCHIDS MASQUERADING AS DAFFODILS

ORCHIDS MASQUERADING AS DAFFODILS paintography and photography by Michael (Miguel) Forbus MAN NEVER REASONS SO MUCH AND BECOMES SO INTROSPECTIVE AS WHEN HE SUFFERS; SINCE HE IS ANXIOUS TO GET AT THE CAUSE OF HIS SUFFERINGS, TO LEARN WHO HAS PRODUCED THEM, AND WHETHER IT IS JUST OR UNJUST THE HE SHOULD HAVE TO BEAR THEM. quote by LUIGI PIRANDELLO, (1921) quote by Marcel Proust (1913-27) WE ARE HEALED OF A SUFFERING ONLY BY EXPERIENCING IT TO THE FULL. paintograph and photography by MICHAEL FORBUS (MIGUEL)

words of wisdom to go with a delightful piece of art...well done, Michael!

Artist Reply: Brenda, my deepest thanks for your kindness and generosity. You are so very kind to compliment my work. I enjoy doing it so much, I almost can't bear to call it work. I would do it for whatever reason. But pleasing you is a great reason. Michael

Interesting quotes and beautiful, very colorful work Michael.

Artist Reply: Thea, these quotes interested my in the sense of how long a human carries pain with them and how often it is thought of. My theory is that it becomes non-existent the second you have no use for it any more or you have experienced it fully. First we as humans agonize over whether we deserve this pain, be it psychic or physical or in matters of love. That is really not my question at present, the question I have most apparent is how do I rid myself of this quickly so that I don't make it so long and tedious a malady. Thus the quotes. I researched a bit and wondered why in the past and not now as I feel very little discomfort have I agonized over something when in truth I should have spent that time ridding myself of the affliction. Deep thoughts for breakfast, but you seemed to be interested in why I posted those quotes. But on the good side, things do not bother me as long as they used to and sometimes for short instances. Which has become a great tool for me. Thanks so much for you great generosity in commenting on my work and I would love to see more of your masterful art. You do genius work and I am anxious to see what you will produce next. My kindest regards, my great and talented friend. And thanks so much. Michael

those POSERS!!! Maybe it's their halloweeen costume, trying to pass themselves off for something else, trying to get some miricale grow or something. Those orchids... never could trust them!! GREAT ART and imagination, Michael!

Artist Reply: I know, Janet, where did they get those costumes? I was dumbfounded or just dumb. But they did and do look like a mess of daffodils to me. Thanks for writing and making me laugh. I needed it. You are so humorous. Michael

Had some beans masquerading as peas once back home - tasted alright though! Pretty pic M - glowie - ~:0)

Artist Reply: Chas, thanks for the kind comments and did they actual peas cause, any bloating at all. See now that would really irritate me as I have an olfactory adverse reaction and reflex makes me pinch my nose. But hopefully that didn't affect you. Poor thing. Poot Poot Poot. My gratitude my fine friend. Michael
