Artist Reply: I was shooting on telephoto , when I got this shot. Then I walked bogie the basset. While about a block from the car , I saw the mom in the photograph get in a very old automobile, wipe one of the children's faces with a touch of love, then try to start her ride. The thing almost did not start , but the kids were smiling as was mom. That made my day and made me just a tad humble.
