AMEN to that. this is truly lovely Michael. I like the glassine effect up in the left hand corner.. it reminds me of a church window, but not stain glass,, something softer,, love your paintography.

Lucious and beautiful, what a fitting tribute to those who work. My parents did not have college degrees. Mama finished high school and cosmotology school. Daddy was a carpenter. Both worked hard, we were never temporally rich...thankfully God saved us from that tribulation. I am rich in happy memories of being loved.

Artist Reply: Minnie, I know what you mean. My mother raised 3 big boys and a girl by herself and we never knew we were poor. She had us dressed the same as the kids of means and always clean and put together and a great cook who could make a great meal out of very little. We were all happy children and thank goodness she has forgotten our misdeeds. Thanks for the great story and comments. I really appreciate it when someone gets the quotes and how they apply to us as kindred spirits. Michael
