melting child copyright david stephens 2007 my son has autism and every day i see some of him "melt" away as if i'm losing him. then he can miraculously be normal again. this painting represents those times where he is at his worst. as he continues to grow i wonder , will he ever be whole?

beautiful techinique with alot of passion showing through. A fellow artist once told me that when you have alot of emotion and passion for the piece your painting the paint will drip with the passion your putting into it.
