Come Home, Come Home. It's Suppertime.

This lovely old [150 yrs plus]church is in North Pointe, PA. I moved there to pastor 3 churches in 1998. The photograph does what I think is the awesome wonder of the interaction between Nature and Art. That sun set in pretty much the same place every twilight [depending on the time of year], but that day I was privileged to be there at the exact moment. The camera and the artist are mere eavesdroppers. The end result is nothing short of miraculous. I like to manipulate photos but some are exquisite by themselves. Despite its loveliness, the scene has a kind of sadness to it, thus my title. My mother's favorite radio station, which played all day, used this song [my title] as their parting theme. When I heard it in the twilight of the day, I felt sad. To this day, twilight is a sad time and I hear the song often in my head. Twilight signals the last chance to grab what is left of the day. Whatever I had not accomplished that day was lost. Not a very positive response to a beautiful scene but mine does not change the scene. Copyright 2007 Dell Belew

. Your favorite jucttfisaiion appeared to be on the web the easiest thing to take into account of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed at the same time as other people think about issues that they plainly do not understand about. You managed to hit the nail upon the highest and outlined out the whole thing without having side effect , other folks can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thank you

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WINTER SCENE!

Artist Reply: Thank you for visiting this scene, Emily. It's a great place to visit and to look at, isn't it? Not so much fun to live in all the time, I found. Dell

This is a great picture and it does invoke a feeling of home to me

Artist Reply: Kelvin, it's always so cool to me when a photograph acts like a poem in that it elicits "feeling" from us. Thank you for being so kind. Hope your feelings of home are positive ones. Dell
