Hunts the Enemy-Apsaroke

"What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset"-Crowfoot, Blackfoot Chief

Excellent piece, Karen!!!! There is sadness in these eyes. I would like to see a smile on one of your Native Americans. I realize that back in that time their wasn't much for them to smile about...I'd be ticked off too, but before the whitemen made life miserable there was great peace and joy in their life with Mother Nature. Guess I'm feeling a little guilty for the treatment of a proud race of people. I think I was an Indian maiden in another life..... :)
