The photo of this painting is not as bright as it is in actual life.It is framed and in another country happily hanging on my sisters wall. I used food colouring and black ink for this experiment.
I'm not really a flowery person, but I love the bold shapes of this! And the colours! Food colouring you say have to try that some time!
Artist Reply: thank you, I'm not much of a flowery person but have preferred painting them but only the bold ones not the prissy ones. Thanks for looking:0)
Artist Reply: Thanks Tom, havent found my Happy Feet yet and have a bit of self doubt at the moment - esp when most people around me arent into arent and I usually get critised or a no comment - oh well:0) Thanks for looking in!

brilliant bird of paradise, well executed, nice form and the food coloring idea gives it a jewel-toned look.
