September Spirits

Molly's Birthday Party was a huge hit. She got many presents and is now writing her thank-you notes to her canine and human friends. The party started at Sundown and all the dogs looked out the window barking at visions that only they could see. Now when I can look closely at the photograph, I can appreciate the extra senses that dogs possess. Molly has taught us to look more closely at nature to see spirits in many forms. When I was a child, I loved to see pictures in the clouds. Dogs are not surprised by paranormal experiences so the party started with a chorus of barking and howling. I can see a dragon breathing fire in these beautiful cloud formations. If humans are open to extra sensory perception, animals will help us develop deeper levels of perception. The first party game was for everyone to tell what they saw in the clouds. Molly was very excited about sharing our special game with her guests. Molly said, next year she will send out invitations to her AW friends for her third birthday party. I reassured her that her cousin Jo and her dog Bessie Ho would get an invitation next year. She missed her Southern cousins and knows now that you can not address invitations to a Bayou in Lousiana. Although her Boglins were born in a swamp in the Bayou, cousin Jo lives in a house with a magical garden wih Bessie Ho and She has written all the addresses of many of her special friends and relatives in an address book she received from her friend Georgia, the farting black boxer. After her camp experience with the humiliated Georgia, She asked me to put Beano on her piece of birthday cake. I took pictures of the party and when I upload them, Molly wants to share with you the festivities. She thanks everybody who wished her a happy birthday and now with her address book can send proper thank you notes for her gifts. She wants to share more pictures of her party and the many gifts she received.

Try the poems of Federico Lorca, Julie. Not American; definitely Spanish. Great pic ;-)

Excellent photograph, Julie and I am so pleased that Molly had a great birthday. Give her a great birthday kiss for me. Not in front of Mikey though. Beautiful work. Michael

Artist Reply: WOW WOW!! I got a huge birthday kiss from you Michael. You are such a warm and huggable man. I bet you need lots of hugs. I don't think I ever experienced such love and affection from a big birthday kiss. Don't worry! Mikey did not see the kiss that Mommy gave me from you. I get tired of canine kisses and except for Mikey dog hugs suck!! Mommy says you are an amazing artist with a giant heart and deep soul. I am learning Spanish and my two favorite Latin American Poets are Pablo Neruda and Octavio Paz. Mom reads the poems to me in Spanish and she gave me The Collected Poems of Octavio Paz, the 1990 Nobel laureate. The poems are also in English and so far my favorite is Piedra de Sol (Sunstone) translated for the first time by Eliot Weinberger. I love what I think was his last collection, A Tree Within (Arbol Adentro). I told Mommy to pair some of her photographs with what she says is" the voice of this amazing voice of Latin American culture." that someone she forgets he is first and foremost a poet. These words are too big for me so Mom helped me to let you know I want to send you a poet of this amazing poet to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your birthday kiss and for being such a wonderful friend to my Mommy. Molly
