I want to take him home. Zoos protect animals from the cruelty of humans;otherwise they would be free to live in their natural environment. Anyone who has ever harmed an animal needs to see you poignant and very touching photograph of this sentient being with those soulful eyes. This is a wonderful shot of one of the earth's greatest treasures, our wildlife and domestic animal companions. Fantastic capture!!

I can't get used to seeing these little people with hands on their feet! Very nice clear , and I am sorry but sad shot. I quit going to zoos when I sea a recent primate arrival in a barred cage stretching its arm out to stroke a blade of grass growing out of the concrete enclosure. I realize that zoos are necessary and do a load of good, but I had to stoop shooting in zoos for the same reason I stopped doing car wrecks. Too much pain. But your photographs are beautiful and I hope to view more of your work soon!

such precious animals....you know I was at a zoo and what I saw blew me away. There was one chimp...he/she I couldn't tell...took a piece of bitten of rope from the tire swings or whatever and "WIPED" the nozzle on the spout where they drink from... like wipping of the germs or something.... I couldn't believe my eyes.....Anyways, I like these guys thanks for sharing.... Great shot too by the way!!! :)
