I thought the images on this duvet can be perceived in a more dimensional way by removing the color and presenting this piece in sepia. The abstract can evoke many projections, feelings and thoughts. Feel free to share with me what you perceive, feel or what thoughts or dreams have been provoked by this fascinating blend of fabrics and imagery.

Stunningly Powerful Work, Julie! Totally Wild! Good one!Mark Peterson 16 Sep 2007
The ornate design makes for some fabulous artwork Julie, and the colors are just what I like :) I would love to see this straight on as an exact symmetrical piece. The horizontal perspective you put on this piece is your taste of creativeness... I know, and you should never ever stop challenging yourself to perfect what you like. One of your best! and I get a feeling of another culture from this. It takes me to another place.Joanna Jungjohann 16 Sep 2007

My Dear Dr. It reminds me of a spring or fall scene in nature that was reproduced to invoke a feeling of subtle desire for the warmth and womb like feeling that being tightly wrapped in heat of the coverlet brings. Very nostalgic and brings back happy feelings of being hugged endlessly. Great photograph as well. Michael
