Sorry it took so long to reply..........I didn't notice the question at the end of your comment. There are 2 coats of the base metallic color, then the texture goes on, then wash with another metallic color, then a 2 Umber wash, then a black glaze and a clear coat. Have a few coats. This series of finishes were based on real rich guilded antique picture frames
