This is fantastic! I can't imagine being blind to color or to things such as this. I feel so gifted to view and see beauty and nature at its best.

oh, so inspiring and beautiful!!!! you have the right eyes to show us in this way this wonderful plant!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks so much Nelly. I have never seen anything that can come close to the beauty of nature. Like my bark, stone, sea and skyscapes, people don't look at the magnificence of nature. Yes, it takes an eye to perceive it, but first you have to want to look. Too many are in too much of a hurry to look up that gives me the joy of seeing the amazing images of trees etc. I will continue to look for plant abstracts. It is more of a challenge right now to find them in the most common places. It is too easy to visit botanical gardens, one a mile from my house at the University of California Los angels (UCLA) where I did my undergraduate work and never took the time to see these beautiful gardens. Now my appreciation will be so different through the lens of my mind and camera. There are so many wonderful places to visit that will give me the images. The fun is finding them myself!!
