Enigma

In case anyone is unaware...Enigma-an oddity, one of a kind, very unusual, a puzzle, a mysterious person...that is the definition. Another one of my crazy abstractions....I think sometimes when I paint it's almost as if I am painting feelings out in colors that portray what it going on like music notes to a song. Abstracts are hard to get people to like cause they are not a portrait and people think that they don't take time when actually I was sore from doing this one...maybe cause it's 36"x48".

I agree, they do take a lot of time, just stop by my studio and see all of the half done abstracts that have been in progress for years. I like the color contrast in this piece how the top left corner is dark and it goes to the light bright colors on the oppsite corner....very cool.

My fav type of art is abstract, that is mainly what I enjoying painting myself. I love this abstract, you did an amazing job with color, form and texture. Congrats on a fine image !
