HELLO BILLY JOEL...ooops spelled that Good Bye wrong on the second image, have to get back to that and change it in a day. Just working on the self portrait thing. Please refrain from rude snide comments. Thinking about the words from the song by Billy Joel, The Stranger. "We all have a face that we hide away forever, some are satin, some are silk, some are leather and we take them out and show ourselves when no one is around"...The second song and portrait words below, I don't know who is the singer or the title, it is an old song from the fifties perhaps. "You give your hand to me, Smile and say "Hello" and anyone one can tell you think you know me well but, you don't know me, No! You will never know the one who loves you so"...

Honest and information packed creation. I still don't see where the challenge is though. With you as the subject, how would the photograph be anything less than beautiful and worth engaging? ? I find the colors you choose here do more than make the different depth spaces crisply defined (which is nice); All that blue forces me to see and accept an unexpected quality to your nature and personality that I wouldn't have appreciated otherwise. Without the strong blue, you’re more obvious and expected tones would have commanded most of the presumptive focus. But this blue, makes me appreciate the sincerity of your strength and will; the comfort and intimacy you feel with the masculine; the masculine part of life, and the masculine in your womanhood. And then the blue is just candy enough, just warmed up enough by the red trim and the lipstick on your smile that your friendly nature floats out and softens up the insistent blue: the resolve in you determined to defend. The subsequent layers add more light and humor so that striking blue ends up having a comforting and playful aftertaste.
