Mt. Warning

MtWarning is an extinct volcano located in Murwillumbah Northern New South Wales.There are many sugar cane fields in the district, which I have painted in the forground. It can be seen from far out to sea and was named by Captain Cook.Gallery Wrapped canvas 90 x 90 ready to hang. $1500

Artist Reply: Thanks Ann , I have big problems describing my art .** [see below] Found out this is actually just a part of the old volcano just one rim or such. the mountainsa ll around for hundreds of miles are the outer rims.Must have been incredible millions of years ago.There are mountains North of us called the Glasshouse Mountains, Cap. Cook named too, because they reminded him of the glasshouses from where he lived. *** [Not like emailing[ or talking]then I can't stop!]

Beautiful painting. We've just moved to an area in France full of old volcanoes. It makes for a very interesting landscape. You'd have plenty of material here to paint!
