The Phantom of the Opera

This is my pencil drawing done in 1999 of the Phantom of the Opera from the Broadway version in which Michael Crawford played the dramatic role of Erik. This is the scene in which he plays the Masque of Red Death in the Masquerade scene. "Why so silent, good monsieurs? Did you think that I had left you for good?"

i like this a lot. it captures the mistery of phantom. Very nice shading, contrasts.
