Tall stories

This is directed to a member of AW, who gives us a lot of light releif! Here in Scotland we all enjoy a good story! Today Connie the cow is reading to `Robin' the rabbit, and `Brown' the bat (known locally as Batty)is hanging around to listen in to the `Tales of Bunny Galore' a bit like `Whisky Galore' when a island off the maincoast of Scotland made an huge advantage of a ships salvage of whisky! Batty particulary enjoys this story as he has a bit of a taste for the local Regal Nectar, aqua vitae! Slainte mhah(pronounced Slan-ja vah) a Gaelic toast, meaning `Good Health'.

I am sure Ms Cow has udderly delightful tales to impart to the young hare and the wing-clipt mammal of the night, Cathy. I don't know what the pink bloom is behind our twitchy-nosed friend, but it is quite lovely, like this shot.

Lovely story Cathy! I must admit that Connie, in all her glory, is my favorite :) . Thank you for finally giving me the correct pronounciation of 'Slainte' too. My late Irish grandfather must have been rolling over in his grave at how I was pronouncing it! Keep the stories coming!!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Anna, just a bit of messin around really! Slainte

Well then, its good to see the Scottish Parliment are doing some work Cathy. After all the money we spent building them that new building. Shame they decided to have their meeting outside on your wall. The speaker of the house is obviously reading some new legislation from the big pink book. This can mean only one thing; there's no Haggis on todays menu. I knew a tall Storie once, but it had a lot of problems with damp so the council knocked it down. Its wee houses there now. Hope your well & creating fine arts as we all know you do. XX

I'm pretty sure this breaks the AW nipple rules Cathy. If they delete it will it become the whaling wall.

Dipped in batter indeed Cathy, If you go down to the woods today your sure to find a surprise surprise & a Laura laura Laughs. This is wall to wall humour. X

VERY English Cathy. Apart from the 'story' I like the wildflowers and the 'English' magic. The lupin near to the plant 'knit bone' intregues me. If anyone sprains their wrist....wrap it around with COMFREY leaves.....and bandage. Pure magic.....cured over night.

Artist Reply: Seems you like the English garden Ron, this one is well up in the north of Scotland, the only flowers left for me this year are the ones the rabbits do not seem to like! Thank you Ron, comfry is a special plant, also very good dipped in batter and fried!

Sally Pulford 11 Jul 2007

Artist Reply: Me too Sally, if you ever make it, then I will make a story and a room for you!

Ah Cathy, what a lovely tail. Its a very bunny image. The udder morning I saw a rabbit in a bit of a stew, he ran out in front of me & he didn't know what to do. I swerved to miss him & knocked over a 'coo'. Its really quite funny cos I'm nearly as batty as you. Apologies in advance for the poor attempt at pottery. My spillin isn't very gid either. XX

Artist Reply: Shame it wasnt a Hare, you could have used some hare restorer!

You are too funny, Cathy!!! have you been a bit peckish with the Slainte mhah? I think Robin is more intrigued by Connies utters than her utterances. You are a piece of work, girl.
