The Lights Of the Big Apple In The Desert

The New York, New York Casino - each time I drive by this place, I am always amazed it is still, not carted off when the carnival is done. There should be dark, hot suilence here int he middle of the desert. Instead a caricature of New York stands to remind us, nothing will ever satisfy. At almost 100 degrees, and the constant river of cars, the street was almost unbearable. When I tried to go further up the strip, the progress was so slow, I turned back. It is not the solitude of Sawhill, for sure - LOL

LV certainly can get hot, no doubt! This casino was built after I move from there back to L.A.. Have a jolly good time!

I am fortunate enough to live across the river ...It is the most amazing City anywhere..I call it the Grand Canyon of the East because it is so different every time you look at it. And if you look close enough you see something different that you hadn't the last time you looked...Beautiful night time capture Greg!
